The Best Bluetooth In Ear Headphones Ever?

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

It’s about time the Bluetooth headset shed the nerd-factor! This design by Erjon Hatillari was inspired by the simplicity of the Sony Vaio’s On/Off button and is almost as small. Using the same unique color scheme as the Vaio, the rechargeable earpiece’s chrome detail glows green during a call and orange when charging. In the form of a single earbud with one large button control, this design combines easy-to-use functionality with basic ergonomics into one sharp looking earpiece.

Throw Back Sunday 0059

Well this weekend see’s the London Notting Hill Carnival back over the bank holiday weekend. There is only one classic track (which is played for the two days then put to bed) we could feature, that of Arrow.
“Hot Hot Hot” is a song by Montserrat musician Arrow featured on his 1982 studio album Hot Hot Hot. Written by Arrow himself, the song became an instant dance floor hit and was later covered by artists around the world, most notably in 1987 by American singer David Johansen under the name Buster Poindexter.

Motown songwriter Nick Ashford (Ashford & Simpson) dies at 70

Motown songwriter Nick Ashford, who penned hits such as Ain’t No Mountain High Enough with wife Valerie Simpson, has died at the age of 70.

Ashford, who was being treated for cancer, died in a New York hospital, former publicist Liz Rosenberg said.

Ashford and Simpson met in a church choir and penned a string of hits including You’re All I Need To Get By and Chaka Khan hit, I’m Every Woman.

They also had a hit themselves in the 1980s with Solid (As A Rock).

Ashford moved from his native South Carolina to New York to pursue a music career in the early 1960s.

Simpson later inscribed “Nick Ashford slept here” on the park bench he slept on in the city’s Bryant Park, when he first came to New York and was homeless.

The couple’s breakthrough hit was Ray Charles’s Let’s Get Stoned in 1966.
