The 3D projector clock!

am/pm’ wall clock (detail) by studio dreimann

German design trio studio dreimann (jonas ette, simon kux, tim priggehas) have unveiled this their recent
project ‘am/pm’, a wall clock that shows both the antemeridian and postmeridian version of the daily hours,
depending on the position of the viewer.

The dial is printed with the lenticular print technology, which is also used for some postcards and lenticular images.
this technique makes it possible to print two images into a single space; which image is observed depends on the angle
from which the object is viewed. thus if the viewer moves around ‘am/pm’, the dial changes to show either the numbers
from 1 through 12 or those from 13 to 24.
