25 Years of Def Jam

Where does time go? We were just talking about 20 years since Blue Lines by Massive Attack, but this is way way bigger. Back in the dayz When rap was fun and the social commentry was simply about having a good time (I know WTF) to the endorsment of brands such as ADIDAS to the Booming System. Def Jam you have come a long way. To this end we need to celebrate and what better way than a phat book with some great quotes and unseen photo’s….
Although we don’t have the book in the office (hint) there are some great early press pieces including this from the NY Times:
